Jamie Olah is a Chicago playwright and educator committed to empowering theatre artists of all ages to realize their creative potential. Since 2007, she has worked with individuals, theatres, schools, camps, and arts organizations to teach, develop new programs, write curriculum, lead teacher training, and provide script and creative consultation. In addition to her work with Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop, Jamie serves as the Education Manager of Olive Tree Arts Network. She is pleased to have provided years of programming with Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Rogers Park Montessori School, Adventure Stage Chicago, Chiaravalle Montessori School, and others. Jamie is a three-time recipient of grants from the City of Chicago DCASE. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Viterbo University. This fall, Jamie Olah is pleased to offer two online theatre classes for young people: “Magical Creatures” for grades 1-3 and “Let’s Make a Radio Play!” for grades 4-6. Students of each class will receive a special package in the mail filled with supplies and surprises.
