Jamie Macpherson is a Teaching Artist and Fight Director, originally from the Twin Cities, MN. She has been a Teaching Artist for ten years, working Madison, WI, Arizona, Minnesota, and of course Chicago. As a fight and intimacy director, she specializes in working with young people. Recent credits include working with the Lawrence Arts Center in KS, The Agency Collective in Chicago, and Romeo, Juliet, et al at the 2018 Chicago Fringe Festival. She has also published multiple articles on stage combat and young actors. Jamie received her MFA in Theatre for Youth from Arizona State University, and is recognized by the SAFD as an Actor Combatant.
